Hard to believe…YES! We are all here safe and well tucked into our huts for night #1! The volunteers are shuffling around and getting teeth brushed and last bathroom stops in before bed. We all arrived and 25 suitcases arrived also! That alone stands to be a wonderful start to this first two week journey….

Our volunteer program for high school students is finally taking shape. PACT (Positive Adventures Changing Teens) is a program that is beginning this year! With Change In Mind has always wanted to find a way to bring the “volunteer experience” home to the United States.
The informational meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday October 2nd 7pm at the Pinball Palace in Carlyle. It is located next to the IGA. Please let me know if you need directions 🙂 Hopefully this will work for everyone!!
