Stormy Weather

IMG_0499

As many of you now know we had some strong weather damage some buildings at our project site in Malawi this past week. Not a great way for a community to start the new year. We were quickly made aware of the issue and began creating an emergency plan in order to help. Being such a small organzation it can be difficult when things like this come up. All of us have been so overwhelmed at the generosity of our friends and supporters. In just 24 hours our supporters were able to raise more than half of the money needed to make the repairs. To all of you who donated and shared our posts in order to get the word out we are so grateful. None of our projects would happen if not for the community of people who believe in what we do. Thank you for trusting us with your donations.

With Change In Mind looks forward to sharing the progress of the building repairs with all of you. YOU all are making this happen. The children and community members in Malawi are already very excited to know that funds are being put together to get their CBO back up and running for the children.

We hope to have these repairs done quickly so that we can get back to business planning for our summer trips and the projects we are so excited about! There is still time to register and be a part of our programs this summer.

Check out our Adventure Page or contact us to learn more about what we have planned for 2015.

Thank you again! If you would like to donate toward the emgergency fund you can use the donate button here on our website.
